When Levi Strauss manufactured the first ever jeans, hemp was their fabric of choice and for the first twenty five years of the company's output hemp was all they used. It was the perfect fabric - hard-wearing yet comfortable, strong yet agile. You may also know that denim isn't really a colour either, it merely indicates the town where the colour came from: Nimes in France. But enough of the history - these are a true delight. Soft and supple: quality through and through. These are the first hemp jeans we've had for some years and we think they've been worth waiting for!
