Unfortunately I would rather find a product that does not contain Sodium Laureth Sulphate, not much better than Sodium Laurel Sulphate. I don't mind not having a lather.
The Hemp Shop says - It's not as bad as you imagine - if at all.
Faith in Nature have replied to our query regarding this ingredient and have assured us with the following:
"We do not use Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES), or Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) in any of our products. We do use Ammonium Laureth Sulfate (ALES) in our shampoos, shower gels and hand washes. ALES is considered to be a safe and effective cleansing agent and is rapidly biodegradable. Virtually 100% of this base is immediately removed from the skin or hair by the simple act of rinsing with water. Our Hair Conditioners do not contain any Sulphates."
"I hope this clarifies your customer's query. If you need further assistance do let us know."
