A superior quality fine Hemp in a linen style from Romania. Wonderfully light and soft, using compressed air blasts to soften the fabric rather than any synthetic bleaches which leaves the inherant beauty and uniquely rich character of natural, long fibre hemp. The fabric colour is an eco-sensitive un-bleached natural. The fibers are spun, milled, woven, dyed and finished without toxic chemicals and without using huge amounts of fresh water. This mill produces the Hemp fabrics from organic yarn, which, although not certified, is grown/cultivated, produced and spun, organically.
A hard wearing 100% pure Hemp fabric that is great for all your upholstery and interiors needs. With eco-sensitive oxygen bleaching it also looks stunning as a suit fabric.
Temporary maximum order amount: 5 metres. More stock available mid-September.
A true classic, this light, flowing fabric is made from a mix of Hemp and cotton. It is a wonderful creamy colour and has a fantastic range of uses from interiors to luxury clothing.
This pure 100% organic Hemp fabric is a classic Hessian or Burlap fabric. Hessian, or burlap in the North Americas, is a loosely woven fabric which has been historically produced as a coarse fabric, but more recently it is being used in a refined state as an ecofriendly material for bags, rugs, and other products.
This hemp fabric is a sturdy weave and used to have a mottled colour as we use only the minimum of eco-sensitive oxygen bleaching. Newly improved by the manufacturer, it is a cleaner/lighter colour than before. It is a very popular fabric with many upholstery uses.
A luxurious silken hemp fabric, that is a true delight! This Charmeuse Satin has a wonderful satin sheen on one side and a matt on the other. The strength of Hemp combined with the beauty and softness of Silk means this fabric is probably the first silk fabric that can be used in upholstery and still hold its shape as well as making stunning clothes.
A mid-width supple and soft Hemp and cotton corduroy. Slightly creamy in colour with minimal eco-sensitive oxygen bleaching. When you're thinking corduroy, think of this hardwearing and wonderful fabric. The word corduroy comes from cord and duroy, a coarse woollen cloth made in England in the 18th century.
