I've been using hemp flour for over 16 years in my gluten free baking. I bake bread daily and substitute about 1/6th of the gluten free flour with hemp flour. Not only does it give it a lovely colour and taste, it extends the life of the loaf. I use a 1:1 ratio for crackers. This is a superb product.
This is such a versatile product. It is great for gluten sufferers like myself, would definitely recommend.

I'm enjoying experimenting with this organic, nutritious, gluten-free hemp seed flour. Substituting a quarter to a third of plain flour for the hemp seems to work well and adds extra taste and texture (and an interesting greenish tint!) to scones and bread. It is particularly delicious and light in a rhubarb crumble topping.
This makes a beautiful loaf in a bread maker (substituting about 15% hemp flour for ordinary flour) with a rich taste and colour and a slightly grainy texture - even better if you add some hemp seeds in as well. An easy way of adding ultra-healthy and nutritious hemp into everyday cooking. Delivery and service from The Hemp Shop were excellent.
