Today's Hemp Tip

The Kontiki expedition left Peru, on April 28, 1947. Their vessel, built using only the materials & technologies available in the pre-Columbian period, was a raft composed of nine balsa tree trunks, each 13.5mtrs long by 60cms in diameter, lashed together with hemp ropes.
