Did you know that until 1883 between 75% & 90% of all the world's paper was made from Hemp? The Magna Carta and the King James Bible were written on Hemp paper, as was the first draft of the American Declaration of Independence.

Rembrandt, Van Gogh and Gainsborough used Hemp oil paints on Hemp paper. All our paper is tree free because deforestation is a global problem in addition to the fact that the pulping process for tree pulp creates considerable chemical discharge. Annual crops like Hemp require fewer chemicals so are less polluting, plus Hemp paper lasts 50 to 100 times longer than that made from timber making it a perfect archival medium.

All of our paper is 100% new tree free (we only ever use recycled or re-purposed tree fibre) and about as environmentally sound as possible.
