Why choose hemp? Fashion is one of the biggest polluters on the planet. From synthetic fabrics which are oil/fossil fuel based, to cotton which drains water resources in already drought ridden areas of the world uses harsh chemicals which seep into the water chain - as a consumer society we have not been buying sustainably. Hemp is the antithesis of this unsustainable consumer pattern. Hemp uses no harsh chemicals so is kind to local wildlife and water systems. It requires 80% less water then cotton to and yields 3 x more fibres per acre. It is a carbon negative plant meaning it absorbs more CO2 then it emits so is infinitely better then any oil guzzling polyester. Where we don’t use hemp you will only ever see organic cotton or recycled materials. All our clothing is recyclable or biodegradable
